1 TV host Mini Mathur



Stuck to a chore Ask a man to do more than one thing at a time, and he’s likely to get cold feet. And even if he tries, he’s sure to mess up things. So, obviously women take it upon themselves to do more than their fair share. TV host Mini Mathur says, “I hate their inability to multitask. They simply are incapable of doing more than one thing, the way we women can.”

Love to scoot When it comes to facing reality, men love to run away. This just makes us want to pull our hair out. But that doesn’t stop them from their propensity for escapist escapades. Actress Suchitra Pillai agrees, “A lot of men run away from confrontation. They just can’t stay and deal with things when they need to.”

Taking us for granted Get close to a man, and you wouldn’t be surprised that he starts taking you for granted. Men seem to have this tendency to feel so comfy that they have to be jolted a bit. So the trick is never to let them feel so secure that they start treating you like a Betty. Television actress Sangeeta Ghosh says, “I detest the way men always take things for granted and how they are so unorganised.”

The big male ego Why can’t men chuck their ego sometimes? And why should we take a leaf out of their book? Actress Tisca Chopra says, “People say, ‘why can’t women be more like men?’ But I want to know why can’t men be more like women! And why can’t they understand that women need 20 handbags?”

‘Fair’ game We hate it when they narrow our worth down to – “what’s she like in bed?” Says Miss India World Parvathi Omanakuttan, “I hate it when men consider women to be inferior — just objects of sexual gratification. Our religion talks about respect towards women, but women continue to be ill-treated.”

6 The stare at breasts

It’s very discomfiting when men stare at our breasts. They see women everyday, but we suppose they just can’t get used to the idea that b**bs do exist! Simran Kant, a law student says, “I hate the way they stare at my b**bs. I mean get a life guys, do we women always stare at your… you know what!”

7 Those long tresses

It just doesn’t suit some men. It gets worse when long-haired men use colourful hair bands, hair gel and even streak their hair blonde! Fashion journalist Sneha Vora admits, “I dislike guys with long hair who use loads of gel. It looks pretty disgusting. Even worse is when they wear those zig-zag hair bands!”

8 All muddled Men keep complaining when we take

long to decide between a lavender or mauve top, but honestly, they are equally indecisive about what they want emotionally. Diya Rai, a film student, while venting her ire says, “Men! Why are they so confused all the time? And it’s worse when they lay the blame for their indecisiveness on us.”

9 Fixated on sex

They are so freakishly obsessed with it all the time. Don’t they get bored of being h***y? And why is everything related to sex?! Anjali Kapoor, an investment banker squirms, “Men only hear what they want to. Whenever I tell a guy, ‘I like you,’ he thinks I mean, ‘I wanna have sex with you right now’!”

Hairy ways We wax, thread, get ‘lasered’
and basically go through a hell lot of pain to get hair-free. But men? Gosh, they protest even if you tell them to shave. Shruti Prasad, a consultant confesses, “Oh I know what’s absolutely disgusting - men with hairy backs.”
